PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

A four component, self levelling floor topping, NEO FLOOR SLT is based on pure liquid epoxy resin cured with a modified cyclo-aliphatic amine curing agent. The system is supplied in pre weighed packs, ready to mix and use, which provides a hard wearing, chemical resistant, impervious and easy to clean seamless flooring. The kit consists of resin, hardener, colour concentrate and formulated aggregates, yielding 0.46 sq. m/kg area @ 2mm thickness or 0.62 sq. m/kg @ 1mm thickness.

Chemical resistance

Excellent resistance is observed against distilled water, detergent solutions, alkalis and acids.

Chemical spillages should always be wiped up as quickly as possible and not be allowed to concentrate up by evaporation. The data on the list of the chemicals found resistant to this product during our lab study is available on request.

Directions to use

Before primer application, CDS (Clean, Dry and Sound) test is conducted on the concrete. Moisture test is conducted by moisture meter or plastic sheet method (ASTM D4263: Standard test method for indicating moisture in concrete). The residual moisture should not be more than 4-5%. Surface preparation like scarification, grinding or shot blasting is done to achieve a surface profile of 150-200 microns. Apply NEO FLOOR P as prime coat. Allow to cure for 5-6 hours. Ensure that the surface is free from all porosities.

Mix NEO FLOOR SLT resin and hardener in the pre weighed ratio. Agitate the mixture by an electrically driven motor. Add NEO TINT Colour (colour concentrate) and formulated aggregates under stirring. Lay the mixture to the desired thickness. De-aerate by using spike rollers. Allow to cure for a minimum 48 hours before the trafficking is commenced.

Packaging

NEO FLOOR SLT is available in pre-weighed kits and has a maximum shelf life of 12 months in the un- opened containers.

Storage and handling

The product should be stored in accordance with national regulations. It should be kept in a cool, well-ventilated area, away from heat, direct sunlight, sparks and children. Handle with care. Mix resin and hardener as per the ratio. Use the mix solution within the pot life time
