NEOFLOOR-ASD is a 2 Part, Antistatic, Self Smoothing Epoxy Resin Floor Coating. The system is supplied in pre weighed packs, ready to mix and use, which provides a hard wearing, chemical resistant, impervious and easy to clean seamless flooring.

 

NEOFLOOR-ASD is a Decorative and protective dissipative self smoothing top coat for concrete or cement screeds with normal up to medium heavy wear. The product is applied as a top coat after Surface preparation, Putty, Primer coat, Screed Coat as per anti static coating laying procedure. The Total system gives a thickness of 3 – 5 mm with anti-static properties. NEOFLOOR-ASD is suitable for areas with requirements for a low electrostatic charge (Body-voltage) and dissipative surface.

APPLICATION METHODOLOGY

•Copper wire or copper strip may be used depending upon the availability and suitability of the site

Groove cutting and laying of copper wire: Cut groove of 5 mm width X 10 mm depth at a spacing of 1 mtr x 1 mtr lengthwise and breadth wise. Maintain a distance of 6 inches from the periphery of the wall for cutting the groove. Extend the groove at any one end to facilitate the earthing connection. Insert copper wire into the groove. If laying copper strip remove the butter paper to expose the adhesive of the copper strip & then stick the self adhesive copper strip on to the clean concrete substrate. Post laying of copper wire or strip, fill the groove with NEOFLOOR PUTTY Post drying of putty, grind the excess putty with grinder to level the surface.

 •Clean the surface well and ensure that it is free from dust prior to application of NEOFLOOR P (Epoxy Primer)

 Prime with NEOFLOOR P, allow to dry. Follow it up with Base coat done by sing NEOFLOOR S. Allow to dry at least for 12 hours before laying the NEOFLOOR ASD as Top Coat. For better bonding of topcoat & base coat, roughen the surface of dried base coat using emery paper. Also ensure that surface is clean & free from dust particles before applying top coat.

PACKING: Available in 20 kg packing.

 STORAGE: The product has to be stored in closed, sealed and undamaged packaging in dry conditions at temperatures between +5°C and +30°C. Protect from direct sunlight.

 SHELF LIFE: 12 months in original unopened sealed condition.

HEALTH & SAFETY: Please refer to MSDS. Observe reasonable care and employ ordinary hygienic principles such as washing the hands with soap and water before eating or smoking.

 •Do not swallow. If swallowed, seek medical attention immediately. Do not induce vomiting.

•Avoid inhalation of vapour. Ensure adequate ventilation in area of application.

•Wear protective clothing, gloves and eye protection.

•In case of skin contact, rinse with plenty of clean water, then cleanse with soap and water. Avoid using solvent to clean the contact area.

•In case of eye contact, wash with plenty of clean water / seek medical advice.

 The disposal of excess or waste material should be carried out in accordance with the local legislations.
