PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

A solvent borne, high solids, two component epoxy-polyamide based primer, NEO FLOOR P, is highly recommended as prime coat for concrete substrates. Being a very low viscous primer, NEO FLOOR P penetrates easily and efficiently into the concrete porosities forming a very strong bond with the substrate. It is an ideal primer for all floor topping applications.

Directions to use

The concrete needs 28 days cure so as the residual moisture to reach within the acceptable level of 4-5%. Surface preparation like shot blasting or grinding is done in order to achieve a surface profile of 150-200 microns. The recommended surface profile is SP-2 (Reference: ICRI technical guideline No: 03732). The relative humidity in the concrete slab should not go beyond 80%. The rising moisture vapor emission rate must not exceed 14-15 gm. per m².  over a 24-hour period as measured by calcium chloride method, ASTM F 1869.

Conduct CDS (clean, dry and sound) tests on the substrate before applying the primer

Mix NEO FLOOR P, resin and NEO FLOOR P, hardener in equal proportion by volume. Agitate the mixture for 10 minutes. Apply by roller / brush. Allow to cure for 5-6 hours. The primed surface is now ready to receive screed / top coat.

All cracks, pot holes and patches are filled in by repair mortars, crack filler and Neo bond etc. such as from NEO FLOOR SOLUTION product range.

Packaging

NEO FLOOR P, is available in 5 and 20 litre packs and has a maximum shelf life of 12 months in the un-opened containers.

Storage and handling

The product should be stored in accordance with national regulations. It should be kept in a cool, well-ventilated area, away from heat, direct sunlight, sparks and children. Handle with care. It contains inflammable solvents. Mix resin and hardener as per the ratio. Use the mix solution within the pot life time.

First Aid

Ø  Eyes: In the event of accidental splashes, flush eyes with water immediately and obtain medical advice

Ø  Skin: Wash skin thoroughly with soap and water or approved industrial cleaner

Ø  Do not use solvent or thinners.

Ø  Inhalation: Remove to fresh air, loosen collar and keep patient rested

Ø  Ingestion: In case of accidental ingestion, do not induce vomiting. Obtain immediate medical attention.

Ø  Special note
